The SafeTrap Tunnelbox is easy and practical to use for fighting rats without the use of poison. Tunnelbox is furnished with 2 pcs. rat traps, which safely and humanely kill unwanted pests.
Tunnelbox has a built-in plastic spear, where a non-toxic Rodent Detector block or suitable bait can be placed. When inspecting the tunnel box, the lid is tilted up, and dead pests can be easily removed, traps reloaded or new bait placed, etc.
Please note that Tunnelbox cannot be locked and should therefore be placed in “safe areas”, e.g. indoors at a safe distance from children and other unauthorized persons.
Tunnelbox consists of high-quality recycled plastic and galvanized steel, which ensures a long life and good functionality.
Warning: Not for use with poison.
Application
1. Place the tunnel box where rats have been observed. Place the box along a wall, in a cupboard or along pipes. The entrance holes must be in the direction of the rat’s run.
2. Place bait or monitoring products in the traps and/or in the box. Use e.g. peanut butter, raisins, other foods that emit scents or SafeTrapTM Rodent and monitoring products.
3. Activate the traps by pulling the hoop back on the trap until it clicks into the hook. After this you are ready.
Tips and tricks
1. Remove any food sources such as animal feed, bird seed and the like.
2. Inspect the building for cracks and crevices. Even very small holes in masonry can be enough for mice and rats to enter.
3. If you are in doubt as to whether there are mice or rats, you can use the SafeTrap Rodent Detector block PRO. The block can stay fresh for up to 3 months and emits a scent. At the same time, it acts as monitoring via gnawing marks in the block.
